“Real Women Have Curves”
The musical “Real Women Have Curves” is about a first-generation American trying to balance family expectations and her dream to become a writer. The final performance is at the James Earl Jones Theatre on Sunday.
“Dead Outlaw”
Another show set to shutter this weekend: “Dead Outlaw” at the Longacre Theatre.
The show centers around turn-of-the-century outlaw Elmer McCurdy, who died at the age of 31, but his story and legend lived on at sideshows and funhouses across America.
“The Picture of Dorian Gray”
On the play front, 2025 Tony-winner Sarah Snook plays more than two dozen characters in a tour de force performance of Oscar Wilde’s “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”
Snook will take her final bow at The Music Box Theatre on Sunday.
“Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends”
Tony-winners Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga will pack up “Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends” at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on June 29.
The Café Carlyle’s celebration of Pride
Finally, on the cabaret front the Cafe Carlyle’s celebration of Pride takes the stage this weekend.
Performer Lea DeLaria is set to perform her show “Out Rage” on Friday night, and Daniel Reichard will perform his new solo show “The Way You Wear Your Pride” on Saturday.
