With the many entertainment choices New York City has to offer, it can be difficult to make a choice. Look no further. “On Stage” host Frank DiLella has curated a list of “must-see” shows this week, directing you to the best of Broadway, off-Broadway and beyond.
“Just in Time”
First up on Broadway at Circle in the Square Theatre, “Just in Time” brings the story of Bobby Darin to the stage. Theater leading man and “Glee” alum Matthew Morrison returns to Broadway in the new bio-musical, running from April 1 through April 19.
Morrison says he was surprised by the short rehearsal window but eager to take on the challenge.
“All Out: Comedy About Ambition”
Over at the Nederlander Theatre, comedians take center stage in “All Out: Comedy About Ambition.”
Ray Romano, Nicholas Braun, Jenny Slate and Jake Shane headline an evening of stories about New Yorkers — and more — by humorist Simon Rich. Shane, who recently made his Broadway debut in the production, describes the show as fast-paced and vignette-driven, blending comedy and commentary on ambition.
“Marcel on the Train”

“Wicked” film star and Tony nominee Ethan Slater portrays legendary mime Marcel Marceau in this new play, co-written by Slater and director Marshall Pailet. The work explores Marceau’s little-known role in the French Resistance, where he helped smuggle Jewish orphans to safety during World War II.
