We are living in a world that is increasingly tech-driven. The trend has been by the Covid-19 pandemic. Technology is behind many of the ways our world has been upended recently, and it’s likely that our pandemic comeback will owe its success largely to the tech sector.
Established firms and emerging tech companies will play roles in the comeback as more people re-enter the workforce and the economy opens. But the most intriguing “What if?” in our still-developing recovery comes from the role that fledgling tech startups might play. Who knows if the next Amazon is being built right now in a garage in Queens?
