The New York City Economic Development Corp. is teaming up with Company Ventures, a local venture-capital firm, to create 12 fellowships for minority and female tech entrepreneurs.
Starting in January, the City Fellowship at Company Ventures will give minority- and woman-owned startups, nonprofits and small businesses an opportunity to collaborate in a physical community.
The program is designed to facilitate pilot opportunities at city agencies and workforce development partnerships at the City University of New York.
