Fresh off of their recent first-place win in Alternative Press’s fan poll for Best Long Island Band, Half Dizzy returns with a bold new track, “All or None,” alongside the announcement of the title and cover art for their upcoming album Yard Sale, set to release later this year.
“All or None” kicks off with an electric guitar melody before the drums crash in and the full band explodes into a driving beat. From the start, the track pulls listeners in with a hook that establishes Half Dizzy’s presence with both confidence and authenticity. It’s a punchy, uplifting punk anthem that looks back on the struggles of youth, celebrates perseverance, and honors the growth that comes from overcoming hardship.
Produced and recorded by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls at Little Eden, mixed by Neil Tuuri at Amish Electric Chair Studios, and mastered by Christopher H. Fogal at Black in Bluhm, the track captures the band’s signerature mix of grit, melody, and heart.
Guitar and drums anchor each verse, laying down a solid foundation for the raw, expressive vocals and tight harmony that add depth and texture. Around the two-minute mark, the band adds in a dynamic break after shouting the lyric “all or none.” There is a brief beat of silence that creates anticipation before diving back in. They do it again later with a different line, using these placed pauses to add personality and punch to the track.
Lyrically, “All or None” reflects on the ride of youth- its confusion, resilience and eventual clarity that comes through lived experiences. The band uses their intense sound to delve into real, relatable struggles. They convey a message that growth doesn’t come easy but is worth it.
Half Dizzy is a gritty punk band from Long Island, delivering raw, hard-hitting tracks with zero pretense. They blend classic punk roots with a modern edge. Known for their no-frills, high-energy shows, Half Dizzy channels real-life frustration into sharp, unfiltered sound.

This upbeat anthem looks back on the wild ride of youth, celebrating the challenges conquered and lessons learned along the way. It’s a vibrant, feel-good anthem for anyone who’s grown through struggle and came out stronger on the other side.
