Octave Cat closed out the night at Geneva’s 6th Annual Drumstock on Saturday, September 6.
Drumstock was in downtown Geneva, centered around Lake Drum Brewing and Castle Street. Octave Cat, is a trio of Eli Winderman (Dopapod – keyboards), Jesse Miller (Lotus – bass/modular synth) and Charlie Patierno (drums). They played one of the festival’s two stages, the space was perfect for the bass kind of weird electro-jazz jams.
The crowd seemed to be half fans of the band who had probably seen them multiple times and people who probably hadn’t gone to a show of this type before, so it brought a good vibe to the night as both groups seemed to be enjoying it equally.

If you are looking to catch Octave Cat, they have a few dates out west before an east coast run in early December. They are playing Philadelphia, Bridgeport, Boston and Brooklyn.
