On Friday, June 20th, Gooseberry returned home for their antepenultimate show of their Summer 2025 Tour. With strong support from Fo Daniels and Honey Crushing, The Sultan Room was filled to the brim with fans excited for all three acts.
Concluding a tour that included stops in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington DC, the evening’s set contained a mix of their classics and new material. The band consists of Asa Daniels on guitar and vocals, Evin Rossington on drums, and Will Hammond on bass.
To say that this band has been on a roll as of lately would be an understatement. Touring consistently around the country since 2019, and only releasing their first full album late last year, an extremely unique blend of sounds creates an incredibly exciting live performance. Multiple genres influence the trio from Brooklyn with carefully written songs featuring melodic and catchy hooks with strong jams throughout their arsenal.
Gooseberry is headed to Kentucky for the highly anticipated festival, Bourbon and Beyond, where they will be alongside the biggest names such as Phish, Khruangbin, and more.
