She’s back! Taylor Swift has announced a new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and has begun taking pre-orders for it on her web site, but it seems more information will have to wait until her appearance tomorrow (Aug. 13) on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
The news follows a day of teases on social media, culminating in the release of an image of Swift holding the upcoming album’s blurred cover. So far, no other details have emerged about The Life of a Showgirl, which is the follow-up to 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department. Pre-order pages for vinyl, CD and cassette versions do not list a release date, and say only that the items will ship before Oct. 13.
