Cepeda’s musical career is marked by two fundamental phases: his early work with the Bogotá rock band Poligamia and his rise as a solo artist. From 1989 to 1998, Poligamia left a significant mark on Colombia’s music scene with hits like “Dispel” and “My Generation.” After releasing four albums with the band, he launched a solo career that has since earned him four Latin Grammy Awards.
In April 2025, he released his fifteenth studio album, Bogotá, featuring hit tracks like “Prométeme,” “El Café,” “Bogotá,” and “Una Flor,” and collaborations with prominent artists such as Andrés Obregón and Manuel Medrano. The album reflects Cepeda’s continued evolution as a versatile and influential artist.
