Chloé’s Autumn-Winter 2023 Collection Pays Homage To 17th Century Artist Artemisia Gentileschi

Held in Paris’ Pompidou Center was Chloé’s AW23 show, with a collection unveiled by Gabriela Hearst, her third collection. Inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi, a 17th century painter, the Renaissance era silhouettes exude female power found in Artemisia’s paintings. For Hearst, she wanted to tell overlooked women’s stories and their contributions to the world through this collection. It is also her aim to highlight climate care and solutions, as women are affected by the climate crises.
