Opened in 2018, the largest academic building on the Texas A&M campus has become the social and academic hub of the university. The 3.25-acre Zachry Engineering Education Complex and E-Quad, designed by landscape architecture firm Coleman & Associates, celebrates learning, relaxing, recreation, and dining outdoors. A rooftop plaza offers long views of the campus and plenty of places to congregate and study. The large ground-level plaza features sustainable landscape design − a Coleman & Associates focus − and active gathering areas with a mix of chairs, benches, and power stations to keep students connected physically and digitally.
