Spring 2026 lectures, exhibitions, and symposia at architecture schools across the country

At architecture schools across the country, class is back in session: Rhino is revved up, books are back on the library table, and colleges have shared their lineup of Spring 2026 lectures and programs. Leaders of international firms will speak about their practices and work, symposiums will ask the big questions about our cities, and expect lighter-fare discussions on topics such as architectural photography.

AN will continue to update this list as more calendars are released.

University of Oregon

Sam Bloch, the author of Shade, a new book reviewed by AN, will kick things off at the University of Oregon this semester on January 14. Daniel Toole, Alison von Glinow, Lap Chi Kwong, and others will follow.

Gardiner was among the architectural photographers who shared a reflection on their practice in AN Interior’s Spring/Summer 2025 issue. The school also has a memorial service scheduled on February 7 for the late Lars Lerup. Lerup had a deep-seated interest in domestic architecture.

Scheduled talks will be led by Marlon Blackwell, Joshua Ramus, and Michael Maltzan. At the New York City campus, Cynthia Davidson will be in conversation with Toshiko Mori for one event and with AAP Dean J. Meejin Yoon for another.
