On Thursday, April 16, music and mission will meet in the heart of Saratoga Springs as RallySound presents Songwriters in the Round – An Evening of Music & Storytelling at The Music Hall at City Hall. The pay-what-you-can fundraiser supports The Ramble and its ongoing fight to prevent veteran homelessness across the Northeast.
Founded by Adam Ezra and friends, RallySound has long blurred the line between stage and service. This intimate, acoustic evening will feature Ezra alongside Sirsy’s Melanie Krahmer and Rich Libutti, as well as rising blues-rock artist Margo Macero. Each performer is donating their time and talent, sharing favorite songs and the stories behind them in a stripped-down “in the round” format that puts songwriting — and community — front and center.
All proceeds benefit The Ramble, the grassroots, all-volunteer festival held annually on the last Saturday of August (August 29, 2026). Funded entirely by donations from attendees, supporters, and sponsors, The Ramble has become a powerful force for change. For every $1,000 raised, the festival — in partnership with the New England Center and Home for Veterans — provides the resources needed to transition one veteran off the streets and into safe, dignified housing.
The impact is tangible. RallySound donated $161,000 to the mission last year alone and has contributed more than $750,000 over the past 13 years to combat veteran homelessness.
Ezra’s commitment to service mirrors his band’s ethos. The Boston-based Adam Ezra Group has spent 24 years cultivating a fiercely dedicated fanbase, earning eight New England Music Awards including “Band of the Year,” and sharing stages with national acts like ZZ Top, the Steve Miller Band, and the Goo Goo Dolls. Beyond touring, Ezra became a lifeline during the pandemic with 500 consecutive nightly livestreams, reinforcing the group’s reputation for connection and activism.

For Sirsy — the Albany-born duo celebrating 25 years together — resilience is more than a theme; it’s lived experience. Melanie Krahmer’s powerhouse vocals and multi-instrumental dexterity pair seamlessly with Rich Libutti’s textured guitar work, creating a dynamic sound that has earned them a place in the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Hall of Fame.
Glens Falls native Margo Macero brings a fearless edge to the lineup. Blending blues grit, rock fire, and country storytelling, Macero has channeled personal adversity — including a 2023 car accident that sidelined her from performing for over a year — into a bold new collection of songs set for release later this year.

From 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (doors at 6:00 p.m.), the third-floor Music Hall in Saratoga City Hall will transform into a circle of shared stories and shared purpose. More than a concert, Songwriters in the Round is a reminder of music’s unique power to rally a community — and to ensure that those who served our country are not left without a home.
