One of the great music festivals is making a return. moe.down, last held in 2019, has been officially announced by moe. to take place over July 16-18, 2026 at the historic West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA.
moe.down first took place in 2000, and for a decade, Turin, NY’s Snow Ridge Ski Resort was home, marking the end of summer with a three-day Labor Day weekend celebration. After a shift to Gelston Castle in Mohawk, NY, then back to Turin for earlier in the summer moe.downs, the festival held its most recent installment, moe.down 17 in July 2019.
While fans were able to spend Labor Day with moe. at Adirondack Independence Music Festival in Lake George over the past few years, fans have been itching for the moe.down itch to be scratched.

Quickly becoming a defining fixture of the summer music calendar, the annual homegrown gathering of music lovers, artists, and kindred spirits in Upstate New York. Eclectic lineups that had a great deal of variety as well as big names, led to unforgettable performances from legends including Bob Weir, The Black Keys, Grace Potter, The Flaming Lips, Levon Helm, Umphrey’s McGee, The Wailers, Cake, Mike Gordon and many more. moe. of course headlined multiple sets each year, collaborating with artists on the lineup, and utilized the event as a platform to support charities, promote sustainability, and uplift regional artists, vendors, and volunteers.
Returning in 2026 to a new home, a new scale, and a fresh sense of purpose, moe.down 2026 will take place in Gilbert, PA, just 15 miles from Stroudsburg and less than 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. The West End Fairgrounds offers a scenic and historic setting for rich in local heritage and easily accessible from several major metro areas. The new site will host a boutique festival experience capped at 3,500 attendees, preserving the intimacy, community, and immersive energy that defined moe.down’s original DNA.
The return of moe.down means as much to the band as it does to our fans we are all famoe.ly and this is our grand picnic. We all can’t wait to do it again!”
moe. bassist Rob Derhak
