The Park Theater in Glens Falls has announced their 2 upcoming shows this December, presented by the Park Theater Foundation – Jazz Night on December 18 and the New Year’s Eve Dinner & Holiday Show on December 31.
December 18: Jazz Night
On December 18 starting at 7:30 p.m., the Park Theater Foundation will host Jazz Night featuring the Killdeer Trio. This instrumental trio, co-led by bassist Evan Jagels, drummer Sebastian Green, and guitarist Wyatt Ambrose, will perform tunes from their diverse catalogue of original music. Members of the trio have worked with highly regarded artists such as Stacy Dillard, John Stowell, and Arlen Roth, and as a group, they’ve worked with Grammy-nominated violinist Sara Caswell, tenor saxophonist Laura Leguia, and opened for the Joel Frahm Trio at the Alias Winter Jazz Festival in 2024.
Killdeer Trio’s music is said to be deeply rooted in the rural environment that its members hail from, effortlessly blending a sense of calmness with an excitement of exploring the unknown. As of now, the trio has released two albums – 2023’s self-titled LP, and this past October’s Underground (which was produced at Oneonta’s Dry Hill Studios).

December 31: New Year’s Eve Dinner & Comedy Show
On New Year’s Eve (12/31), the Park Theater will partner up with Park Street Hospitality to present the New Year’s Eve Dinner & Comedy Show. Beginning at 8:00 p.m., acclaimed comedian Casey James Salengo will take the stage, along with special quest Courtney Maginnis.
A 3-course prix fixe menu curated by Park Street Hospitality’s very own executive chef, Matthew J. Delos will be served, along with a complimentary champagne toast. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 p.m., with dinner being served at 7:00 p.m. and the show beginning at 8:00 p.m.
