Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Blue Wave Records, the GREAT Salt City BLUES will be holding its ninth concert at one of Syracuse’s coolest venues at the St. George Church Hall inside the Macedonian Orthodox Church.
Founded in 1895, Blue Wave is Central New York’s oldest nationally distributed Independent Record Label. Over the past 40 years, Blue Wave has released an expansive slate of albums from National artists Downchild Blues Band, Eric Burdon, Kim Simmonds & Savoy Brown, Cub Koda, and more. Syracuse Area Music Awards Hall Of Fame member and Blue Wave president, Greg Spencer, currently produces The GREAT Salt City BLUES Concert held annually in Syracuse, the day after Christmas.
On December 26 at 7:30 p.m., the GREAT Salt City BLUES Concert 9 will feature 20 artists in front of a full capacity audience. Artists will include Neil Minet, Raedwald Howland-Bolton, Joanna Nix, Bill Barry, and more.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Tickets are now available online and in person at Sound Garden in Armory Square.
