Vintage Tales comprises 10 tracks, beginning with “Wild Dog,” a strong and passionate introduction to the album. The implementation of reverb and gritty vocals contributes to the aggressive themes found within Dmitry’s music. The lyrics repeat “Wild Dog,” which creates a sense of freedom in which you can chase trains while listening to the song.
Standout tracks include “Cosmic Wife,” “Son of a Gun,” and “Alive”, in which the tracks are complemented by horn-driven instruments and gritty guitar riffs. As well, the drums play an essential role in building momentum for the tracks and creating a sense of angst and tension.
Concluding the album is “Call of the Wild,” a bittersweet and melancholic end to the album. The guitar plays melodically while the echoing vocals and a low vibration groaning instrument create a spiritual and serene feel to finish the album.
