Broken World Music Festival Will Return to Buffalo to Support Suicide Prevention Efforts

It’s only a broken world if you’re not in it.

The Broken World Music Festival, a one-day benefit concert for suicide prevention, will return to Buffalo for its third year, now with a new name, a renewed mission, and the same loud heart dedicated to suicide prevention.

Formerly known as Taco Fest, this grassroots event has grown into something more powerful: a call for connection, healing, and hope.

Set for Saturday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Buffalo Iron Works, the event will showcase a stacked lineup of Buffalo and Niagara’s most passionate and high-energy local bands — including headliners Call Me Disaster, a pop punk band from Niagara Falls known for turning pain into purpose through their music.

Prairie Pavement, Little Lair, Goodbye Metro, Cold Sho Trio, Ormorlu, Sevagoth, Sliver, and Heart for Sale are also set to perform.

Suicide affects all of us. You’ve either lost someone or you know someone who’s struggling. We believe that’s unacceptable, and this is our way of doing something about it.

Matt, member of Call Me Disaster and festival organizer

The Broken World Festival is more than just a concert, it’s a community space. A space to grieve, to heal, to remember, and to connect. Most of all, it’s a space to let people know they’re not alone.

All proceeds from the event will benefit The Devin Waring Foundation, a local nonprofit supporting suicide prevention and mental health awareness initiatives.

Tickets are available now available for sale here. More information can be found at the Buffalo Iron Works website.
