After nearly 15 years of making and performing music, Upstate New York-based rock group Wild Adriatic has announced their disbandment and final performance dates.
The news was shared on the band’s social media, sharing that the group will “no longer be touring, recording or writing for the foreseeable future.”
The news comes just months after Wild Adriatic released their latest album, Wild Adriatic, released on April 18 of this year following a six-year hiatus of new music from the group.
The band’s social media post explained that after failing to honor commitments made to fans by being unable to perform at booked shows, the group ultimately decided to disband. The post went on to explain that despite the separation, all members remain on good terms.
The longstanding legacy of Wild Adriatic will come to a close after four performances this summer with their final show dates at: Rock the Dock Music Festival in Lake George on July 12, Alive at Five Summer Concert Series in Albany on July 17, WEXT Fest at Music Haven in Schenectady on July 26 and the group’s final performances at the Mile of Music Festival from July 31 through August 3 in Appleton, Wisconsin.
