Located in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China, the project aims to create a creative and comfortable residential area for people. The design team uses deconstruction language rather than traditional way to connect the vision of the future life with site context, to rebuild a spiritual landscape.
The project uses “différance” as the core concept of deconstructionism to promote the holistic design and respond to the building. “Différance”, a philosophy concept, was put forward by Jacques Derrida.
