Marcus Mumford‘s debut solo track, “Cannibal,” got some very exclusive treatment for his new video. How exclusive? Well, he enlisted none other than Steven Spielberg. This is a first for the Academy Award-winning career: this was the first music video he’s ever directed.
Shot only on an iPhone, the video was created by only four people, who Mumford credited on his Instagram. Spielberg’s wife, Kate Capshaw, was the video’s co-producer, art director, and dolly grip, while The Great Gatsby actress (and Mumford’s wife) Carey Mulligan took on its costuming and sound.
