For anyone looking to travel to France from the U.S., the situation has changed as of 2022 and with a surge in the Omicron variant, there are now increased restrictions.
On 6 December 2021, the U.S. advised against traveling to France, because of the surge at the end of the Delta wave and because of the soon-to-be-imminent surge in the Omicron variant across Europe.
