Located on the left shore of the Potomac river, the capital of the United States is such a pleasant city. During the spring season, the city celebrates the blooming of cherry trees or “sakura”. In 1912, the planting of cherry trees in DC was a gift of friendship to the Americans from Japanese people and since then, every year, the celebration has never stopped.
