Missing real estate attorney to surrender to authorities next month

It may be game over for Mitchell Kossoff, the beleaguered real estate attorney who disappeared in April with millions in client cash.

Kossoff is expected to surrender to the authorities on Dec. 3 and plead guilty, according to a letter filed by the New York District Attorney’s office, though the exact charges or details of the plea were not revealed. The charges will become public after his arrest, said his attorney William Mack.

Multiple lawsuits have been filed against him by clients who say he owes them more than $8 million in escrow funds, pushing his eponymous law firm into bankruptcy in May.
