Mayor’s Office of Contract Services launches vendor transparency tool

​​The Adams administration has launched an online portal to improve data transparency throughout the city’s contracting and procurement process. The website, however, does not directly address late payments and reimbursements made by the city.

Mayor Eric Adams and the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services announced the launch of PassPort Public on June 3. The data portal is aimed at providing transparency to for-profit and nonprofit vendors contracted by the city. PassPort Public is expected to open a wider window into the much-criticized world of city contracting and establish an easy-to-use interface for vendors to track payments.
