Beleaguered real estate attorney Mitchell Kossoff, who disappeared earlier this year with millions in client escrow funds, surrendered to authorities on Friday and will plead guilty to charges of $14 million in escrow theft, said his attorney, William Mack.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced in November that Kossoff would turn himself in, though the exact charges were not clear at the time.
He is free without bail until his plea appearance. He has promised to appear at all future court appearances, Mack said.
