A startup in the Flatiron District that provides concierge primary care services to midsize businesses has raised $4 million in seed funding to expand.
The company, Radish Health, utilizes telehealth offerings and workplace clinics to offer primary care and mental health services directly to employers and municipalities, focused on those that are self-insured. Dr. Viral Patel, founder and CEO, said Radish hopes to allow more employers to offer direct access to doctors the way big companies do.
Nearly one-third of U.S. companies with more than 5,000 employees offer a primary care clinic to their workers, according to a 2021 poll by Mercer.
