Five predictions from Fed event on 'future of New York'

Forget the free lunches. Hybrid employees say that the biggest incentive for coming into the office is collaborating with colleagues.

That’s according to research by Nicholas Bloom, professor of economics at Stanford University, that was presented Thursday by the Federal Reserve Bank at an event called “The Future of New York City: Charting an Equitable Recovery for All.” The event was held to bring together thinkers and leaders to discuss how the city could chart a path toward an inclusive recovery, making sure that equity plays a role in how to underscore that remote work, economic dynamism and transportation initiatives should be for all.
