Mayor-elect Eric Adams named the heads of city agencies on tourism, school construction, small business and immigrants Friday — shortly before he was scheduled to be sworn in as the Big Apple’s 110th mayor at the Times Square ball drop.
Two of the appointees are holdovers from Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration.
Longtime NYC & Company president Fred Dixon will stay on in his role leading the city’s official tourism marketing organization. Before joining NYC & Company as a vice president in 2005, Dixon worked Planet Hollywood International and Delta Airlines.
