With a packed house at Putnam Place, Reprise performed the June 26, 1995 SPAC show on Saturday, March 7, bringing the original show in all its glory, with the crowd hanging on each note from the Summer of ’95 show.
Formed to *reprise* the Phish experience, Reprise is Cal Kehoe, longtime frontman for Pink Talking Fish, on guitar; Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle, Kung Fu, The Breakfast) on drums; Scott Chasolen (Ulu, the Machine) on keys, and Chris DeAngelis (The Machine, Kung Fu, The Breakfast) on bass.
When the crowd was asked “Who was at the original show?,” 20-30 hands shot up, but given how late in the show it was, the real number was likely more. Once again hearing one of the more notable Phish performances at SPAC (which garnered a Live Phish release), note for note and jam for jam, is an exhilarating experience.
