It’s no secret that Paramore has been in the studio hard at work on their fifth full-length album, but now, we’re getting a look at just how far along in the process they are. Spoiler alert: they’re almost done.
In an Instagram post on the band’s account, Paramore showed off their “song board” for their upcoming record — a chart in the studio that helps keep track of the progress of each song.
It’s been a long time coming since Paramore came out with anything new. The band mentioned that they were writing the record back in January, and as far as personnel is concerned, pictures from the studio allude to former drummer Zac Farro making a return to the band. Additionally, it seems as if they’re once again working with producer/Nine Inch Nails bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen — the same guy responsible for producing their last record, too. There’s no timetable as to when we’ll see Paramore’s fifth album, but if they’ve only got two vocal tracks left to lay down, the band should be gracing our headphones with new tunes soon.
