Coming off their most successful touring year to date, “fast-rising NY band” Organ Fairchild announces the forthcoming “BOOM!” record featuring nine new original tracks ranging from vintage funk and R&B to progressive rock, jazz, and the sweeping 8+ minute fan favorite “Sapana.”
The first single, “Westside Bowl”, a bouncy track named for the Ohio bowling alley/music venue where the song was written at soundcheck, was released on December 4 on radio & streaming services ahead of the full album dropping February 27, 2026, in 180-gram vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
Recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Justin Guip (Hot Tuna, Levon Helm) and mastered by Alan Evans (Soulive), “BOOM!” is the long-awaited fourth record from the band and follows up last year’s release of cover songs called “Songs We Didn’t Write,”.

Jam scene mainstays Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie, and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights,” a group that still plays reunion shows to this day.
It wasn’t until early 2020 that they wrote their first original music together, this time as a three-piece instrumental organ trio/funky jam band, Organ Fairchild. The debut gig was just a month before COVID shutdowns, but the horse was out of the barn, and the response was immediate!

Organ Fairchild craft their organ-trio-meets-rock-band sound – described as adventurous, vital, and alive – by synthesizing influences ranging from the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers to Steely Dan, Soulive, and Medeski Martin & Wood. And when they’re on stage, completely captivating an audience without a bass player – and nobody singing – there is no confusing them for any other artist on today’s scene.
