Kelly’s Angels Summer-Lovin’ Funfest Hits Lake George’s Shepard Park

Kelly’s Angels’ Summer-Lovin’ Funfest is coming to Shepard Park in Lake George July 24–26. This annual event supports Capital Region families affected by cancer and those displaced from Ukraine, while showcasing live music rooted in the spirit of New York.

The three-day festival features a mix of local favorites and regional acts, along with family-friendly activities, food and drink vendors, and a drone and fireworks show to kick off the event.

Thursday opens with The Newells, a family band covering classic hits from the ’60s through the ’80s, followed by Funk Evolution, a high-energy party band known across the Capital Region. The night wraps up with a drone light show over the lake and a live Channel 13 news broadcast from the park.

Rhode Island’s classic rock band Sundance returns Friday and Saturday, continuing their long tradition of performing in Lake George. The Refrigerators close out Friday with three decades of high-energy party music, blending horns and soulful grooves that the Capital Region loves.

Saturday starts with the North Country’s own Stoney Creek Band, blending rock, folk, country, and bluegrass in a sound shaped by the region’s history. The evening closes with EB JEB, a Southern Rock band with over 40 years on the road, bringing powerful rhythms and intricate guitar work to Shepard Park.

Alongside the music, people can enjoy crafts, bounce houses, and food and drink including beer and wine. Kelly’s Angels provides critical support to local families, and this festival is a chance to celebrate that work while enjoying a fun weekend in Lake George.
