Karina Rykman jumped on the Levitt Pavilion’s stage around 8 on Friday, August 15 in Westport, CT, immediately capturing the audience’s attention and energized the crowd with her lively performance. Born and raised in New York City, Karina brings her jam rock music to the stage, mixed with a touch of indie pop and psychedelia. Right from the first song (Dirty South), the crowd went wild. It’s impossible to stand still when she plays her bass with so much energy.
Known for her ability to turn a normal stage into a truly vibrant and entertaining experience, Rykman runs the show with the help of Chris Corsico (drums) and Adam November (guitar, loops, effects). Between songs, she builds a real connection with her fans, blending them seamlessly into the performance. Jumping all over the stage Karina closed her show by playing “Elevator” and inviting all her fans to meet her for photos and autographs at the merch stand.
