On Saturday, August 2, Eyes of The Nile and Dyspläcer rocked a loyal crowd of super fans at Rochester’s best BIG little venue, Water Street Music Hall. The premiere music venue held a sacred space where music felt as timeless as the hall, built in 1976. Making it the perfect place for the two fantasy metal bands to collide, featuring an evening of galloping riffs, operatic vocals, and live action mascots.

Concert goers were adorn in an eccentric embodiment of: tight pants, long teased hair, studded leather, and old band t-shirts. Bringing nostalgia for the fearless creative achievement that was  early heavy metal music. The band stage presence was accentuated with larger than life Egyptian temple walls, and energetic magic.

Undoubtedly, local Rochester band Dyspläcer opened the night by setting the tone for the evening by stepping into their authenticity. Speaking of the hero’s journey of the Ninja, where they fight to fulfill destiny by balancing: light and darkness, thunder and lighting, love and loss, action and words. Utilizing live action ninjas and primordial beasts to show the viewers their path of steel to destiny.

The evening ended with the Iron Maiden tribute band, Eyes of The Nile from D.C. Their concerts bring an authentic experience by embodying the passion, and precision of the original band. While leaning into the esthetic branding and the iconic mascot Eddie. Bringing a high energy experience to a venue near you.
