Fishbone has exciting upcoming events and celebrations on the horizon. Well-known for its unique, genre-defying, genre-fusing music, their lyrics and songs have been utilized to encourage conversation and change, challenging racism, authoritarianism, and social complacency.
Fishbone have announced spring tour dates, the release of a limited-edition double LP reissue of In Your Face to celebrate its 40th anniversary, and a new studio album set for early summer 2026.
Fishbone will perform the entire studio album, In Your Face, for the spring tour, followed by a second set featuring Fishbone classics and fan favorites. This tour is a unique opportunity to experience the band’s live performances of the songs that made them who they are.
Best described by Top-Shelf Music as, “Genre-defying legends who’ve been blending ska, funk, punk, and soul sounds since the Reagan era. Frontman Angelo Moore — dressed to kill, as always — exploded onto the stage with the manic charisma of a preacher at a punk revival meeting. Fishbone is still one of the most electrifying alternative live acts on the planet.”
The tour also serves as a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of In Your Face, which will be marked by a limited-edition double LP reissue. This limited-edition vinyl release celebrated the groundbreaking debut album, with Black and Tiger’s Eye vinyl editions available as well.
Fishbone’s focus is also on their new studio album. The line-up includes Angelo Moore (vocals, saxophones), Christopher Dowd (keyboards, trombone, vocals), James Jones (bass), Hassan Hurd (drums), John “JS” Williams II (trumpet, vocals), and Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton (guitar).
