David Gregory has been appointed chief information officer for the Recording Academy. Rick Engdahl was the Academy’s previous chief information officer. Gregory will be reporting to Recording Academy co-president Panos A. Panay.
In his new role, Gregory will lead the information technology mainly responsible for the Academy’s overall technology infrastructure and its award shows, which includes network and systems technology, distribution and support of mobile devices and training. He will also be overseeing the applications that manage memberships and the voting processes for the Grammy Awards.
