The 9th Annual Allman Betts Family Revival Tour has just announced the second collection of artists set to take the stage at 20 venues across the country, including 4 dates in New York State.
The newest batch of artists to join the Allman Betts Family Revival Tour include Judith Hill (Michael Jackson, Prince), Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses), Lamar Williams Jr. (The Allman Brothers), Melody Trucks, Vaylor Trucks, and more. Performing alongside these 13 newly announced artists are the 11 artists previously announced in August, which included Robert Randolph, Amanda Shires, Jimmy Hall, and many more.
Each Allman Betts Family Revival Tour show is hosted by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, sons of founding Allman Brothers Band members Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts. Since the first Revival Tour in 2017, Allman and Betts have been striving to carry on the brotherly spirit and musical camaraderie that has characterized the Allman Brothers since 1969. Past lineups have included the likes of Slash, Marcus King, and Jason Isbell.
With an ensemble cast approach calling back to The Allman Brothers’ famed “The Last Waltz” show, each date of the tour is set to feature a revolving cast of artists, spanning genres from blues and Americana to country and rock. No matter what kind of music you love, you’re sure to find something for you among the soulful performances at an Allman Betts Family Revival Tour show.
The Allman Betts Family Revival Tour will be hitting 4 venues in New York State – Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo on December 3, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on December 5, The Beacon Theatre in NYC on December 6, and The Paramount in Huntington on December 7.
