While it may seem like Americans as a whole are more frustrated than ever before, is that true as a blanket across the whole country? Surely, some states are more furious, while others are much calmer. To see where the fury is brewing, Best Life set out to determine the angriest state in America.
To create our Anger Index, we first used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s most recent Fatality Analysis Reporting System, as well as supplementary analysis by Auto Insurance Center, to find what proportion of each state’s fatal accidents involved road rage.
