Despite recent events in Europe, there was optimism in France’s tourist sector this week for two reasons.
Firstly, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) issued a statement to say its research suggested that France’s Travel & Tourism sector could see the creation of more than 60,000 jobs compared to 2019–this would exceed pre-pandemic levels by 2.3% and imply that the sector would be employing 2.8 million people in 2022.
