In the goings on of high fashion shopping in the 8th arrondissement of Paris is the new Café Alaïa, located at 5 rue de Marignan. Alaïa is a renewed fashion House, known for sculpted styles of fit and flare shapes and tight waits. This café is a move to build upon Azzedine Alaïa’s values and personality.
“Known for his warm and welcoming temperament, Mr. Alaïa gathered people of all backgrounds for the famous dinners he hosted within his own kitchen,” notes the café. The kitchen that Alaïa would use is at historic Rue de Moussy. It’s where his friends and artists would meet.
