Barry McGuire’s “Eve Of Destruction” Eerily Relevant Today

In 1965, an artist named Barry McGuire recorded a song called “Eve of Destruction,” which came out of nowhere and, within weeks, rocketed up the U.S. charts to No. 1. It’s basically a protest tune about the sixties, but with some ominous international overtones.
