It’s girl and star power on the small screen in the new musical comedy series “Girls5eva.”
The show, which is being executive produced by Tina Fey and her husband, Jeff Richmond, centers around a one-hit wonder 90s pop group as they reunite 20 years later. The principal cast features Sara Bareilles, Paula Pell, Busy Philipps and Tony winner for “Hamilton,” Renée Elise Goldsberry.
“It’s a dream. Even if it hadn’t been in the middle of a global pandemic where I couldn’t leave my house, unless somebody paid to COVID test me, I would have been ecstatic to do this job,” enthused Goldsberry.
