Taylor Swift joins Kelce brothers for vocal exercises ahead of record-breaking episode

Taylor Swift’s appearance on the “New Heights” podcast is the gift that keeps on giving as a funny behind-the-scenes clip from the episode has surfaced.

A week after Swift’s record-breaking podcast with boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, arrived, Swifties still can’t get enough of the trio’s funny interactions. So on Aug. 20, the Kelce brothers decided to satisfy fans by sharing a silly video of the athletes and the pop star warming up before they started to record the episode.

In a clip shared on the “New Heights” TikTok account, an enthusiastic Travis Kelce hyped up his sibling and said, “Oh my gosh, Jason!” while his older brother puts his spin on a few tongue twisters to prepare.

“Ow now brown cow,” the retired NFL player repeated to himself.

The brothers then said in unison, “Unique New York.”

Swift joined in on the fun and did a classic lip trill vocal warm-up.

Travis Kelce shouted out, “I’m really excited!” and the episode began.

“Everyone knows you should always warm up before doing a podcast,” the caption for the post read, and included a crying-laughing emoji.

Swifties in the comments expressed how much they enjoyed seeing more clips from the podcast, which was edited down to just two hours.

“She just matches their energy perfect and I love it,” one said.

Another joked, “Taylor went full choir teacher on em.”

Others weren’t satisfied, and demanded a fully unedited version of everything the trio recorded together.

One TikTok user wrote, “Just give the greedy children the uncut episode idc if it’s 4 hours long.”

“Do you all know how long we waited for a 10-minute version of a song and how much we pressured her?” another asked, referring to Swift’s song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” from her 2021 re-release “Red (Taylor’s Version).” She added, “Give us the unedited it! Pretty please!”

Swifties are anxiously waiting for more from the Grammy winner after being surprised last week with news about her next era and the release of her 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

After spending a large portion of the episode breaking down how her romance with Travis Kelce began and sharing other fun facts, like her love for sourdough, Swift revealed that “The Life of a Showgirl” will be released Oct. 3. She also announced the 12 songs on the album, including the title track featuring Sabrina Carpenter.

Swift worked on “The Life of a Showgirl” with Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback, whom she previously collaborated with for her albums “Red,” “1989” and “Reputation.” The trio wrote and recorded the songs for the upcoming record during the European leg of her “Eras Tour.”

Travis Kelce gushed about the new album on his podcast, describing it as “so much fun.”

“I’ve been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here. So I know they’re all 12 bangers,” he said.

The Kansas City Chiefs star added, “It’s a lot more upbeat, and it’s a lot more like fun pop, excitement. I think it’s a complete 180 from a lot of the songs on ‘Tortured Poets.’”
