NYC's Off-Broadway and Cabaret Stages Finally Springing Back to Life

NEW YORK — Mayor Bill de Blasio’s announcement Thursday that the city is working to set up means Broadway is one step closer to returning.

That won’t happen until later this year, but there are other shows that will open much sooner.

Next week, The Green Room 42, one of the city’s best cabaret venues, will reopen with a performance by Broadway veteran Lillias White.

White is booked for shows on April 2 and April 3. Tickets are also available for upcoming concerts by Michael Longoria, Eden Espinosa, and Erika Henningsen. Audience capacity is limited to 33%, social distancing rules will be enforced, and masks are required for
