'Mrs. Doubtfire' to take nine-week hiatus on Broadway due to COVID surge

NEW YORK — The Broadway musical “Mrs.  Doubtfire” is taking a nine week hiatus because of the surge in COVID cases around the city.

The show will close a week from this Monday.

Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical will be taking a hiatus from 1/10 – 3/14. We will be returning to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on 3/15! Ticket holders with performances during this time can exchange for performances after 3/15 or be refunded at their point of purchase.

It is not expected to resume until March 15th at the earliest.

Anyone with tickets during the cancelled dates can exchange them for a later
