Your group chat has likely definitely been crushing hard on Miami’s very own Marcello Hernández since he broke through on Saturday Night Live. However, we’re sorry to report that he’s actually off the market. (Lo siento, really.) And, despite all the confusion, he’s not dating his Domingo muse, Sabrina Carpenter.
While we’re here, let’s take a moment to introduce you to his girlfriend, Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral. They’ve been romantically linked since January 2025, and based on her online presence, she seems incredibly cool. She’s a Dominican-born, New York City-based furniture designer and architect who’s hit several red carpets and dressed in couples’ costumes with the SNL star.

January 2025
According to a photo obtained by DeuxMoi, Marcello was spotted on a romantic dinner date with Ana (who was simply a “mystery woman” at the time) at Marea in NYC.
Per the blog’s eyewitness, the comedian was seemingly “enjoying the company” of Ana as he was “laughing and engaging in some serious eye contact with [her]…over plates of delicious Italian food.”
Cool-cool-cool.
May 2025
Things remained pretty low-key for the pair until they were photographed together at high-profile events, the first being Richie Akiva’s Met Gala after party at Casa Cipriani on May 5, where they posed with Santi Nuñez. (Casual!)
A few weeks later, the pair posed with Benicio Del Toro at the after party for The Phoenician Scheme’s New York premiere on May 28.

Marcello and Ana made their red carpet debut at the premiere for Happy Gilmore 2 on July 21, 2025. Cute!
October 2025
They’re locked in, for real. Marcello and Ana wore matching Addams Family costumes at Heidi Klum’s annual Heidiween party, and we couldn’t be more obsessed. (Side note: pinning this for our own couples’ costume inspo.)
Ana also shared a few pics from the month in a later-posted photo dump, including another look at their Halloween costume and a snap from SNL’s Studio 8H stage.
Aaand Marcello simply commented a GIF of Gomez saying, “You bewitched me,” underneath the post.
December 2025
Marcello seemingly showed love to Ana while scrolling through TikTok, as he reposted a supercut of photos with the caption “She’s an architecture girl.” That was totally a nod to Ana, right???

January 2026
Marcello’s booked and busy as he does press for his Netflix comedy special, American Boy. Not only does Ana accompany him to the premiere, but she shares a sweet post congratulating him on the milestone. “Go watch the best comedy special on Netflix, so proud of you mi cello, I love you ♥️,” she wrote, to which he responded, “Te amooo ❤️🤞🏽.”
On January 10, the pair pulled up to W magazine’s annual Best Performances party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, looking all cute and whatnot.
Marcello was a guest on the January 26 episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, where the host admitted to being “newly obsessed” with his friend, Sabrina Carpenter. “If I’m you again and I’m 28, I’m going to try to date her with all my might. Are you not trying your hardest to marry her?” Dax asked, to which Marcello responded by fully gushing about Ana.
“I’m in a relationship with a Dominican girl. She’s an architect. She’s unreal. She went to Yale,” he said at the time.
February 2026
The couple started February off strong with a date night at the Grammys, where Marcello presented an award with Karol G. Ofc, he and Ana looked amazing on the red carpet:
He couldn’t help but gush about Ana’s golden glam during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he said, “My lady is killing it. She looks incredible.”
They also snapped pics inside with their tablemates, Laufey, and her twin sister, Junia.
Then, they made their way back to the East Coast for New York Fashion Week, where they attended the Tory Burch runway show together.
