Jason Kelce says living a ‘normal life’ with family is getting harder

The Kelce family’s fame has reached new heights.

In fact, amid the added attention brought to Jason Kelce amid his retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, the 38-year-old admitted that the spotlight has changed the way him and wife Kylie Kelce navigate the world with their four daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 9 months.

You know, I’m all over television, and my face, in particular, is much more out there,” Kelce said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Dec. 22. “In a lot of ways, going out into public is much different for not just me but my wife, my whole family.”

Indeed, Jason — who has been married to Kylie since 2018 — and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, have been thrust into the spotlight amid their New Heights podcast and the younger Kelce brother’s relationship with fiancée Taylor Swift.

Despite all the extra eyes, Jason maintains that he and Kylie aren’t letting the fame go to their family’s heads.

“But we really do try to live as much of a normal life as we can,” he shared. “Which is increasingly becoming harder. We’re finding ways to get it done. We go to Disney World and we’re still walking around. We might take a few more pictures in certain areas.”

One person Jason has been taking a few more pictures with is Taylor, who helped him and Travis smash viewership records on their podcast earlier this year. However, the former center maintains their relationship is all family, no business.

Travis Kelce says he and Taylor Swift are already in the swing of planning their big day.

“We’ve tried to keep a lot of that out of the relationship,” he told the WSJ. “I just enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be wife, and aunt to my kids, and we try to leave that relationship where it should be, there.”

Still the “Blank Space” singer’s business savvy is an inspiration to the ESPN analyst.

“Watching her operate, watching her savviness in getting her entire music catalogue back, watching how she has toured the globe while also writing an entire new album,” he said. “The level at which she takes control over a lot of different aspects but also allowing people to be experts in their own right, I think that a lot of that stuff is fun to watch.”

As for Taylor inspiring his behavior at her and Travis’ upcoming nuptials? Jason said that’s up for debate.

“The first time I met Taylor was at a Buffalo Bills game. I jumped out of a suite,” he told WSJ. “She invites us back to things now! We’ll see if the shirt stays on or off. I think if my shirt comes off, Kylie will be very upset about that.”
