Looks like Taylor Swift is skipping the 2026 Brit Awards red carpet—despite rumors that she might be attending! The Grammy-winner wasn’t spotted on the red carpet at the annual awards show, though keep in mind she technically could still show up later on.
A source previously told The Sun that Tay had been spotted in Manchester ahead of the show, saying “Taylor is hiding out in London at the moment and is scheduled to visit Manchester, which seems like she could be lined up for a surprise appearance at the Brit Awards. Taylor was handed the Global Icon Award at the ceremony back in 2021 and has a huge amount of respect for the Brits. She loves it. Brits bosses are trying to keep everything under lock and key, but it feels too much like a coincidence that Taylor is secretly in the UK at the exact time of the Brits. The fact her team are all heading home the Monday after the ceremony is fishy. Manchester is an amazing city, but Taylor wouldn’t just be coming to look at the cathedral and the Etihad, would she?”
FYI, Taylor and Travis Kelce were seen in NYC earlier this month, and they seem to be spending their time chilling out and enjoying each other’s company.
A source just spilled to Us Weekly about their relationship, saying “Travis has given Taylor a sense of calm. He supports her in ways that she could have never imagined, and he never expects her to perform or curate a persona around him. That kind of ease has given her permission to be her real self. It’s always light between them, and although they have serious life conversations, they really don’t argue or fight.”
They added that “This is her favorite time of year with the holidays and her birthday, and she has been intentionally slowing down. She’s been nesting, cooking, spending time with family and carving out space to enjoy being engaged.”
Meanwhile, another source said that “Taylor used to be super type A, but she’s become more spontaneous. The armor is off. She’s trying to live a more unfiltered life. Taylor is visibly lighter and laughing a lot more. Travis gives her a fearless playfulness and the confidence to take up space unapologetically.”
