Famed New Yorker writer and best-selling author Adam Gopnik brings his signature storytelling to the stage in Adam Gopnik’s New York, now playing at Lincoln Center’s Clark Studio Theater through Oct. 26.
“I’ve been collecting stories and people and places and histories, and I’ve put them together in a show, you know, taking them off the page and and onto the stage,” Gopnik said. “And it’s, I hope, above all, a funny story of coming of age in New York. But it includes everything from the history of Central Park and how Central Park came to be the way it is to the story of my own psychoanalysis, the most unsuccessful in the history of therapy.”
